The assisted reproduction precises the taking of some special medicaments which improve the evolution of the process. The medicaments’ goal is it to improve the quantity and quality of the eggs which will be used.
Each technique needs a certain amount of special medicaments which will be determined for each patient’s circumstances. In order to decide which dose is necessary, we have to make an analysis ahead of the treatment.
The most taken medicaments are usually stimulating hormones which stimulate the ovulation like clomifene tablets and gonadotropin, which are little injection bottles, which are used subcutaneous and do not provoke pain.These hormones do only affect the ovaries. A gynaecologist will control the taking throughout the whole time with an ultrasound.
In some cases the patient has to continue taking oestrogens or progesteronas for favouring the implantation.
